If we told you to close your eyes and imagine the person most likely to shop online, you’d probably picture a woman—and you’d be wrong. According to a recent survey of 1,000 U.S. shoppers, 30% of men shop online once per week, while only 18% of women claimed to do the same.
The survey includes other information that should be of great interest to realtors and business owners, including how people define “shopping,” why they prefer mobile-friendly sites to apps, and which coast (East or West) is most likely to own a smartphone.
